APWA-NC Annual Conference in Hickory was Awesome
Dave Tepke, PE, Mike Parker, PE, and Carrie McClellan, Marketing Manager, joined with APWA-NC Chapter attendees for the annual conference in Hickory, NC. The keynote speaker (Mike Schlegal, whiteboardacademy.com) reminded us to Unlock Awesome at Work and drew the synopsis of Dave’s awesome presentation. Dave’s presentation, Designing Durable Concrete for Severe Environments, included discussion of salt’s effect on concrete in coastal environments. The conference was well attended and a great way to meet with APWA members across the state.
