“Since we have no place to go…” has never rang truer than in the year 2020. As we reflect on a year of financial and health concerns for those dealing with Covid19, we wanted to take a moment to share a present of positivity and hope with our clients and employees. This year, we felt the best present was to take a moment to be thankful.
We are blessed to have clients that are faithful and who trust in our abilities to provide solutions to their projects. Thank you for your friendship and for the laughter we experience in our project meetings, it is your good nature and warmth that have kept us going this year.
We are thankful for employees who put their best foot forward every day, working with excellence and commitment. You took on the challenge of working from home and learning more about technology and Zoom than you ever wanted to, you have made us proud. On a recent Zoom company meeting, employees were recognized for awards given to those celebrating work anniversaries, including one for 45 years! There was huge applause in honor of the retirement of dedicated, long-time employee, Betty Gibson, who worked diligently every day with excellence for SKA for over 30 years.
Finally, SKA took a long-term dream, a dream ten years in the making, and gave ourselves a Christmas present this year. As you may have already heard through our social media sites, we are opening a Raleigh-Durham office next month. We are grateful that we will be closer to our current Triangle clients and able to help new Triangle customers from this office which is staffed with all three of our service lines — Structural, MEP and Building Envelope.
We say goodbye to a tough year and we truly end the year on a thankful note. We wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and the Happiest of Holidays.
