NACE Concrete Service Life Extension Conference

Our own Dave Tepke, P.E., is presenting “High-Performance Ready Mixed Concrete for Repairs in Coastal Environments: Case Studies” at this year’s NACE Concrete Service Life Extension Conference in Philadelphia. Coastal environments require high-performance concrete which the American Concrete Institute describes as “concrete meeting special combination of performance and uniformity requirements that cannot always be achieved routinely using conventional constituents and normal mixing, placing and curing practices.” Dave’s talk covers primary structural challenges, concrete considerations, challenges to prescriptive alternates in specifications, and concrete mixture suggestions and will enable conference attendees to develop future plans to tackle their coastal concrete issues.
