SKA Appoints Zeb Wells as Vice President
GREENSBORO, NC (May 6, 2015) – SKA Consulting Engineers, Inc., announced today the appointment of Zeb Wells, P.E., as vice president, effective immediately. Mr. Wells’ responsibilities will include client contact, business development, and contract engagements for the Asheville office and surrounding areas.
Mr. Wells was recently named branch manager of SKA’s Asheville office and will remain in that role. As branch manager, he is responsible for growing SKA’s reach across the Blue Ridge Mountain region. Mr. Wells has worked on over 570 projects in his SKA career; of note are two projects on top of Grandfather Mountain: the ‘Mile High’ Swinging Bridge and the Top Shop Visitor’s Center, which are exposed to hurricane force winds on a regular basis. The structure sits 5,280 feet above sea level atop a mountain with a vertical rise of 1,500 feet. Mr. Wells has also recently completed the design and construction administration of a waterproofing/restoration project on the historic Asheville City Hall building.

Mr. Wells graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a B.E.T. in Civil Engineering.
