SKA Expands Greensboro and Charlotte Offices with Seven New Additions

GREENSBORO, NC (February 5, 2015) – SKA Consulting Engineers, Inc., is pleased to announce the addition of seven new employees to its Greensboro Headquarters and Charlotte offices. The latest new hires include an addition to the marketing team, two Structural Group team members, an MEP Group member, and three Building Solutions Group members. This growth brings the total number of employees to 81.

Morgan McEwen

Morgan McEwen

Morgan McEwen, a Michigan native, joined the marketing team as Marketing Manager. McEwen brings experience in strategic marketing, branding, and content development that will help SKA’s leadership in their renewed focus on marketing and client services. Prior to joining SKA, McEwen worked in marketing and project management for the National Board for Certified Counselors. Morgan holds a B.A. in Communication from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Adam Ratcliff

The Greensboro Structural Group added two new team members, Adam Ratcliff and James McGinley, E.I. Ratcliff holds an A.A.S. in Architectural Technology from Guilford Technical Community College and previously worked as a mechanical/plumbing CAD designer with AC Corporation. McGinley, an E.I. within the Structural Group, served as an E.I.T. at American Engineers, Inc., for two years in Louisville, Kentucky. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University and a M.S. from the University of Louisville.

Mike Ranieri

Mike Ranieri

Michael Ranieri, P.E., is the newest addition to the Greensboro MEP/FP group and serves as a project manager. Ranieri brings experience in site surveys, condition assessments, design, and providing specifications for educational, industrial, commercial, and institutional projects involving lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, security, and more. He has more than 25 years of experience and is a member of AASEC. Ranieri holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University and is registered in a total of eight states.

The Building Solutions Group in both Charlotte and Greensboro welcomed three new faces. David Keatts, Jr., joined SKA’s Greensboro Headquarters as a project engineer and previously worked as a construction materials engineer and special instructor at S&ME, Inc. A native Virginian, Keatts holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech. Andrew Butler, E.I, and Daniel Renckens, E.I, both 2014 college graduates, joined the Building Solutions Group in Charlotte. Butler recently completed his B.S. in Civil Engineering at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Originally from Greensboro, Butler previously worked as a field technician with Geoscience Group, Inc. Renckens comes to SKA after an internship with the NC Department of Transportation in Raleigh. He received a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a concentration in structures from North Carolina State University.
