APWA NC Chapter Conference in Kitty Hawk a great success
SKA representatives enjoyed three days of packed content and exciting seminars at the APWA’s NC Chapter 2018 Facilities and Grounds annual conference. Our own Dave Tepke, PE, NACE, CS/PCS, joined with Danny Briggs, EI, CDT, City of Greensboro Dept. of Water Resources to share about the Mitchell Water Treatment Plant Phase 1 Structural Remediation project. In 2012, concrete materials distress and reinforcing steel corrosion at interior and exterior locations had become apparent at the plant. What followed is an intensive condition assessment and phased project (currently in Phase 2). Click here to learn more about the project.
