What’s the primary driver (other than workforce and customer service) to which to attribute your growth over the past three years? Our ability to build new relationships and willingness to expand, take risks and pursue new opportunities.
Examples of your company’s growth during the past three years. Added two new offices – one in Charlottesville, Va., and one in Charleston, S.C; added 36 employees; added a marketing and business development group; and increased our human resources capabilities.
How much of your future growth will be in the Triad vs. outside the region? We continue to see strong opportunities in the Triad. We anticipate that approximately a fourth of our growth will be in the Triad, but we also see opportunities in other markets throughout the Southeast.
Are you likely to eye an acquisition in the next two years? Yes
You’re taking a free, companywide trip. Where do you go, and why? I would invite all employees and their families to Hawaii. They deserve it, and everyone could relax with their families at the beach.

How big do you hope to become, and what’s the biggest challenge to getting there? We are striving to increase revenues by 50 percent over the next five years.
Are you struggling to find workers? If so, what positions? Yes, experienced engineers.
Given that our event theme is “In the Fast Lane,” what type of car reflects your company or its culture? VW – excellent engineering, fun to drive, but not pretentious.
