400 South Tryon Street Office Tower

CloseSKA was the engineer-of-record for the repairs at the 400 S. Tryon Office tower in downtown Charlotte, North Carolina, the 11th tallest building in the area at an impressive 420 feet and 34 stories, which was built in 1974. This project included an investigation of the exterior façade to determine the overall condition of the exterior façade and roof. At the conclusion of the investigation work, SKA provided a written report summarizing the results of the investigation.
Following the investigation, SKA prepared waterproofing design documents for remediation of the exterior façade and provided construction administration during the remediation repairs.
