SKA conducted third party design reviews of the Building Envelope Systems to include below grade waterproofing, exterior facade (wall cladding, curtain wall, store front and punched wall openings), plaza waterproofing and roofing for Cone Health on three projects (Wesley Long Hospital, Moses Cone North Tower and Central Energy Plant Building). Upon completion of the reviews, SKA prepared reports outlining our comments and participated in work sessions to review comments and offer suggestions or recommendations to the designer of record. During the construction phase, SKA conducted periodic construction site visits to review the work for compliance with the contract documents and issued field reports identifying non-compliant building envelope items and other related deficiencies. During the construction, SKA also performed air and water testing on the North Tower project and Wesley Long projects.
