SKA is currently working with a local architect to provide mechanical, plumbing and electrical design services for renovations and improvements to the 12,169 sf Siler City Town Hall.

Siler City Town Hall is housed in the towns original courthouse building which is on the historic register. The three story building houses a courtroom, judges chambers and associated lobby and offices on the second floor, Town Managers office, Mayor’s Office, Finance department, associated staff offices, meeting room, breakroom and lobby on the first floor, License Plate Agency’s offices, Lobby and waiting area, and Parks and Recreations Lobby and Offices at the basement level.

The renovations include new HVAC system for the Courtroom and Judges Chambers. The scope of work involved creating an ADA compliant restroom on the 2nd floor; providing a new HVAC system for the renovated and reconfigured Town manager’s offices, toilets and conference room and the creation of a new ADA compliant toilets and entrance including an exterior ramp at the rirst floor; providing a new HVAC system for the entire basement, reconfiguration of the floor plan which includes creation of an ADA compliant restroom; and creating a new entrance at the basement level.
