The Vu

This contemporary bar and eatery, located on the main concourse of the Greensboro Coliseum lives up to its name, The Vu, with amazing views of the SKA-designed 167,000 square foot arena. Continuing a long-standing client relationship dating back to 1957 with the Greensboro Coliseum, SKA recently provided engineering design services for the interior upfit of this space, which includes pendant lighting for ambiance, ultra modern, electric blue finishes and display spaces that showcase eclectic accessories.

Prior experience on site includes MEP, structural, and fire protection engineering and construction administration services for several major phases of work, including: the 1993 expansion of the facility to a 22,000-seat arena, construction of the Special Events Center and the Plaza space, creation of 28 luxury suites within the arena seating bowl, installation of the ice floor, renovation and upfit of the Natty Greene’s Bar and Lounge, Ovations Lounge, and various concession spaces.
