SKA provided engineering design and consulting services for a short term service life design for supplemental bearing support of the existing pre-stressed concrete double tee pedestrian bridge elements, and short term repair design for broken/loose hand rail post bases.  The two pedestrian walkway concrete bridge segments generally consist of cast-in-place pier and column bents supporting shallow pre-stressed double tees, which have a concrete topping.  Each segment of the bridge is approximately 21 feet wide, one segment is 90 feet long and the other is 130 feet long.  The double Tees span approximately 30 feet.  One bridge segment serves as an outdoor facility storage area and has masonry wall surrounds.
