UNC- Charlotte Scott Hall Dormitory

This university facility is a twelve story – 210 room cast-in-place and pre-cast concrete residence hall constructed in the late 1960’s. SKA completed repair of slab / beam concrete distress on internal surfaces and repair of external pre-cast walls in order to install new brick facade. The project scope involved cathodic protection which was implemented on exterior concrete members; installation of carbon fiber reinforcement for new floor slab penetrations; and various concrete and rebar repairs related to moisture intrusion and failing concrete.
