UNC Greensboro Education Building

The new 110,500-square-foot facility is the first LEED Certified building on the campus, providing a green learning environment that offers an array of tools and state-of-the-art enhancements for use by the faculty and students. The design process utilized the latest three-dimensional Building Information Modeling (BIM) software to design, detail, and help facilitate the construction of the building from foundations through interior finishes. In addition to providing structural design services, SKA served as the special inspector during the construction process, helping to ensure construction complied with the design documents.
