CloseSKA conducted an engineering investigation of waterproofing and paver system replacement at this 50,000 square foot elevated plaza and slab on-grade sections.
The plaza area abutted high rise buildings and sidewalks along major downtown streets. SKA prepared remedial design documents and provided construction contract administration services for remedial work which included removal of small planters within the center of the plaza, construction of a new raised seating structure containing planters and a small fountain, and addressing a large fountain, entry stairway, landscaped area, large tree planters and small tree walls over the service/maintenance area.
