Kevin McCarthy, PE
Project Engineer
After beginning his time with SKA as an Engineering Intern for the Building Solutions group in the Greensboro office, Kevin now serves as a Building Envelope Engineer in the Raleigh-Durham office. He has been a part of a wide array of projects while at SKA, including the planning and execution of large-scale condition assessments, development of construction documents for structural and waterproofing repairs, new building commissioning, and contract administration services. Typical projects relate to vertical cladding systems, parking structures, and moisture intrusion investigations. Kevin also has experience in planning and managing high-rise condominium exterior restoration projects after working along Florida’s Emerald Coast. Outside work, he loves to spend time with his wife and daughter exploring Raleigh and visiting family.
