Larry Jones
Technician
Larry returns to SKA after working bi-vocationally as a pastor and wiring specialist at a diversified industrial products manufacturer in Asheville. He has knowledge of AutoCad and Microstation, engineering drawings and planning process, ability to produce construction drawings and experience in bridges, buildings, reinforced concrete and masonry construction.
Larry received a drafting diploma from Wake Community College in mechanical drafting and has experience as a technician/CADD operator. He worked with SKA for nearly 10 years before leaving to work full-time in the ministry. Returning to SKA, Larry really enjoys the staff in the Asheville office and finds it a pleasure coming to work and being part of such a professional team.
He has a Master of Divinity degree and sixteen years experience as a pastor. Larry loves spending time reading, listening to music of all kinds – country, classic rock, Christian/gospel, playing guitar, and riding roller coasters. He has three children: a daughter who is married with three children in Lakeland, Florida; a daughter who is married and is a veterinarian in Raleigh; and, a son who is studying music production at Western Carolina University. Larry and his wife, Bonnie, are natives of Raleigh.
