SKA partners with Boy Scout Troop 107 for Earth Day Clean Up

SKA Consulting Engineers partnered with Boy Scout Troop 107 to clean up a section of the Bicentennial Greenway on Wednesday, April 22.  BSA Troop 107 First Class Scouts, Wesley and Mitchell Barham, with their dad, Assistant Scoutmaster Eric Barham (SKA Information Systems/Facilities Manager), took to the outdoors today to clean up a section of the Bicentennial Greenway adopted by SKA as part of Earth Day Event beginning in 2015. They collected over 300 pieces of trash on the section from Leonard Recreation Center to Western Guilford High School. The Scouts earned 2 conservation service hours toward rank advancement, supported the BSA 1,000,000 pieces of trash project, helped the environment and their dad’s employer with community support and got to enjoy the wonderful Spring weather! They passed many folks along the way, practicing social distancing, and getting many “thumbs up” and thank you’s for their efforts.
