Cherokee Emergency Operations Center

SKA collaborated with Padgett Freeman Architects for the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Indians on the Cherokee Emergency Operations Center, which is a 24,000-square-foot, two-story, LEED Gold facility housing the tribe’s Information Technology and Public Safety departments. The building consists of office, conference rooms, training classrooms, and a 911 console room. SKA commissioned the following systems: emergency generator, fire alarm, lighting controls, power distribution, variable refrigerant flow HVAC system, HVAC controls, and domestic water.
