SKA was the engineer-of-record for the roofing and masonry façade restoration of this historic church in downtown Charlotte, North Carolina. SKA provided engineering investigative services, designed and prepared contract documents, and provided construction administration services for the rehabilitation of the cladding and roof.

SKA performed full-time construction administration services during the repair work and provided weekly field observation reports. SKA’s repair work addressed the failure of the existing cladding and roofing, and included structural modifications. The church remained opened and services continued during the repair work.
