Part of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg County Schools System, this single-story, 115,325-square-foot, $10.7 million school serves students grades pre-K – 5. The Type IIB facility was designed with an automatic sprinkler system featuring load-bearing masonry, with built-up roof on metal deck and bar joists. The pre-K classrooms are in a dedicated wing, and the entire school sits on a 46 acre site, including a 9.75 acre building area. Construction began in January 2014 and is estimated to complete in early 2015. |
