Major Electronics Manufacturer Fire Water Storage Tank & Building

SKA worked with the owner to perform fire system upgrades, including a new fire water storage tank and building in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The project involved removing a 250,000 gallon open reservoir, keeping the existing 1500 GPM diesel fire pump in place. An expansion to the existing fire pump was designed, including a connector to the new tank. The final product provided a new 250,000 gallon water storage tank for the fire protection system with a new pump house to protect the owner’s manufacturing facilities.
