SKA completed a condition assessment of the entire reinforced concrete treatment plant, which included corrosion related testing of embedded steel, evaluation of concrete quality, and evaluation of concrete contamination. Design solutions to extend the service life for the primary operations building and basins were evaluated and implemented in two phases between 2012 and 2013.
