PTIA New Fire Station and Command Center

SKA completed construction drawings and performed construction administration for the new Fire Station and Central Command Center. The project consisted of mechanical, plumbing, fire protection and electrical design including lighting, power, data, telephone, fire alarm, emergency power generation & intercom distribution systems. The scope of the project required extensive coordination with the Airport Authority, Federal Aviation Administration, Airport Tower – emergency signal, Greensboro Central 911 center for radio signals, and local radio vendors. Construction costs were approximately $5 Million.
