Union Square Campus Building One

Greensboro, North Carolina

Union Square Campus is a unique initiative formed by a dedicated group of leaders passionate about education in the City of Greensboro to “transform[ing] our wealth of educational assets into economic success.” The campus will occupy a two-acre site in the South Elm Redevelopment area of downtown Greensboro and will initially accommodate two buildings.

The campus is a collaborative effort of seven colleges and universities and allied institutions. Building One stakeholders include: NC A&T, UNC Greensboro, Guilford Technical Community College, and Cone Health and is 110,000 square feet with a 25,000-square-foot healthcare simulation laboratory in addition to other educational and support facilities. SKA was selected to perform the building envelope peer review for Building One.
