Nick is a Senior Designer in the Building Solutions Group whose job has morphed from a role as technician in the structural department to solely project management and testing in the field. His primary responsibilities include multiple phases of planning, design, detailing, testing, and construction administration of building solutions projects that deal mainly with cladding and envelope issues. His experience includes stucco, EIFS, masonry, concrete, coatings, windows and doors, and flashing designs on commercial, institutional and residential projects. In addition, Nick performs third-party reviews of other professional firms’ construction documents to assist clients with potential design issues prior to construction. He loves managing the project, “solving the puzzle,” working with clients, and finds that his work brings him different challenges each day. Nick helps with almost every aspect of his children’s lives — his daughter’s dance program and swim team and coaching his son’s football and lacrosse teams. To get away from their hectic schedules, Nick and his wife enjoy their exclusive family vacations either to the beach or an island.
